The Malta Dynamics High Strength Steel Locking Carabiner is designed for durability and versatility. This heavy-duty carabiner features a 0.84” gate that has been tested to the ANSI standard to withstand face and side loads up to 3,600 lbs. It allows you to securely attach personal fall protection components like lifelines and lanyards to an anchorage point with maximum ease and security.
This carabiner is self-closing and self-locking. The steel twist-lock mechanism adds an additional level of safety by requiring two specific actions to open. Using one hand, twist the ¼ turn barrel to reveal the carabiner nose and then pull back on the gate to open it. Once attached, simply release the gate, and it will automatically spring back into the closed and locked position.
Made from rugged, reliable materials, this carabiner is suitable for various conditions. It can support workers weighing between 130-310 lbs and is made of heavy-duty alloy steel with strong zinc plating to prevent rust and corrosion, even with prolonged exposure to extreme conditions.
